Great Day

Sunday - usually can be stressful day for me - with going to church and getting ready for the week, etc. But today was different, though I had stayed up til 2a.m. on Saturday getting chores finished off, I actually enjoyed my day.

Fred and I slept in til the last minute before going to church in Delta then came home and had a lovely meal (if I do say so myself). It consisted of leftover smashed potatoes, marinated chicken breasts and bruschetta. Then we relaxed on the sofa - falling asleep - until Fred had to go to work (camp). Abby and I have just enjoyed the evening - relaxing, finishing laundry, eating leftovers and doing so cross-stitching.

Just one of those days where you have a smile on your face and your not even worrying about tomorrow.

I am reminded today with how blessed I am and very thankful for my husband, our home, our Charlie and Abby who keep us entertained, and for gifts God gives us.
