Great movie....

Well tonight Fred and I went to see Pursit of Happiness with Will Smith - VERY GOOD MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!! Its so rare to go and see a movie and both of us enjoying it - and for this one we did!

It was a rather relaxing day for us - slept in - went to the church (I'm taking on some responsibilities with the library), did some shopping, checked out COSTCo, went to the movies, out for dinner and home again! So nice to have one of those days - nothing too exciting nor too boring.

Well talk is getting more serious about Fred and I both going to Africa - yep one or two weeks to Malawai - we hope to take a group of kids from Bethel and Elim next year and this trip would help us prepare for that. The nice thing is a gentlemen who is planning everything has offered to pay completely for Fred!!!!!!!! So fred is for sure going - its just whether or not we can get the money together for me to go - since we are trying to buy a house right now as well - money is tight. The trip is sort of planned for late April, early May - so we'll see. I'm completely thrilled and nervous about this possibility and will certainly keep you all up-to-date with it!

On other news: awhile ago i had my 3-month review at work and it was very positive - with great feedback and the possibility of the job changing to purely marketing!!!! Since then I have put together a bridal registry for all 6 locations and have started to organize cake decorating classes for 5 locations. When I started looking for a new job here in Brockville I said I wanted something that would challenge me and at first I didn't think Hendrix was going to provided that - but since the beginning of January it certainly has - and it seems that it will continue to. I have even been putting out ads in the brockville and kingston papers which is exciting!

House hunting is going okay - we have found one house that we are interested in - but are waiting for now - once it gets more serious/positive i will update on that.

For myself I have discovered many things about "me"
- I need to work on my time management skills
- I need to make time for my creative outlet
- Never bring work home - no matter how busy I get
- Take time to talk to God and read His word (doing this certainly makes my days easier - my thoughts are more on Him and less on myself)
- Be positive (though negative things do happen during the day - I need to turn them into positives and not "lose it" because of them)
