Wow what a weekend....
Well when everyone was asking me what I was doing for this long weekend I answered with "nothing much" but boy was I wrong - Friday was awesome (earlier thread) and Saturday was good - got some scrapping done, spent the evening with Fred watching a movie, Sunday more scrapping and relaxing and today we went for a little road trip.
We started out in Arkona (where we first lived when we moved here) and I took pictures all over the place for a layout I want to do (since we are moving again soon I wanted to get them now before I forgot). I got lots of great pictures - this one of the waterfall in rock glen is one of my favs

Then we headed towards Grand Bend and ended up in Goderich! I have never been there before - such a pretty little town. We did some shopping at some of the local shops - got some fudge ~ very yummy and then went to the tourist place - nice fountain huh - to find out if there were any trails.

And Fred found a new pair of shoes (he is dutch you know)

We were in luck there was this very nice trail along an old railroad track - they have made it out to be really nice - theres a bridge that you can see Lake Huron from.

The view was so pretty.

Once we were on the trail we found this bench that had a great view and we sat and talked and relaxed and just found it so peaceful! It was so nice.

We then headed back - stopped at Grogs for some dinner and are now home. It was such a great day! The weather this morning was not so nice, but by the time we got to Goderich is was sunny and blue sky's and even started to warm up!
My husband is the best! He knew I needed out of the house and totally did an awesome job getting me out and letting me have some fun!
Anyways kind of tired (didn't go to sleep til 3a.m. this morning and was up at 9a.m. and Leo came with paper work ~ oh ya we had an offer come in on the house and after some bidding they accepted and now as long as they sell their house and everything passes we have sold our house!) going to go lay down and relax and do some scrapping later!

Holy cow girl! Seriously - I think you should consider furthering your photography - you get such amazing shots - - that one of the bridge is brilliant! Amazing perspective!
I remember when you took me to that waterfall! Great shoes on Fred!
I'm so glad to hear you've had such an awesome weekend! I ended up with lots more happening than planned too! We're lucky girls!
Congrats on the acceptance of the offer! I will pray that all moves forward swiftly and without problems!
Hope your week is as awesome as your weekend was!
Luv ya!
