Progressing nicely
Yep two more pages done on Grandma's album - now that I'm started I am realizing how much easier it is! I only spent about a half hour on them both (and hopefully that is evident!) Again with the wild asparagus papers, stamps, etc. The journaling reads (on page 2):
Gladys was the first born to Hugie Soper and Margaret Halladay on June 6, 1911. Her parents raised her and her siblings ~ Mollie, Sally, Peryl, Edgar and Lewy ~ in the small, quiet town of Elgin. There she attended elementary school. Later she traveled to Athens by train each week to attend high school. Though her parents always wanted her to give music lessons, she decided she wanted to be a hairdresser instaed and went to Kingston in 1929 to attend the Beauty School there.

So its been a rather quiet night ~ Fred was only home for an hour from 8:30 - 9:30 for dinner and a shower and now back to work he goes. I have been scrapping and cleaning and reading this really great book!
I didn't sleep well last night again - I saw every hour on the clock! But when the alarm went off at 7 I got up, did some baking, dishes, showered and even read before leaving for work - this new cafe mocha thing is really helping me in the mornings!
Anyways will probably start planning the next two pages in the album and read and go to bed!

Oh my goodness these look amazing! I love how you tied the pics and papers together! The colours are perfect!
On page 2 I love the journalling, and the flowers are gorgeous - I love the crimson red! Cute embellie in the corner!
The brads on the third page are a great accent, and the stamp really makes the layout flow so nicely!
Luv ya!
